Holiday Tournament 3rd Place Winners
Congratulations to our Boys Basketball Falcons who recently captured third place
in the annual SPPCS Holiday Tournament. This year, they faced some tough competition and captured a third place finish from a last-second shot by
Collin Shields. Also, congrats to Logan Calvert and Owen Scherff who were
named to the All-Tournament Team. We are so proud of them!

Open House & Pancake Breakfast
MARK your CALENDARS! Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School’s Open House will be held on SUNDAY, JANUARY 28, 2018 from 10-2:00 pm. This is an opportunity for prospective parents AND EVERYONE who would like to see the great things happening at SPPCS! Tour classrooms, meet teachers, listen to the band and chorus, learrn about financial assistance and scholarships, watch the Robotics, Scholar Bowl, and Chess Teams perform, and see our classrooms IN ACTION! If you haven’t been inside SPPCS for a while, now is your chance to see our new addition and updated technology!
ALSO, be sure to catch a flying pancake at our Chris Cakes Pancake Breakfast in the SPPCS Gym from 10-12:00 pm on Open House Day! There is no charge for the breakfast, but donations to offset costs will be accepted. Queen of Hearts - Drawing EVERY Tuesday!
The Queen of Hearts raffle has begun! A reminder that you must be registered to purchase tickets for this drawing. You may stop by The Stubborn German or call school to register. Since last week's winner did not pick the Queen of Hearts, the jackpot is growing! Remember...tickets may be purchased only at Stubborn German Brewing. Be sure to get in on the fun!
Illinois Scholarship Tax Credit - UPDATE
Have you heard about the new Invest in Kids Act in Illinois to help provide families funding to attend the school of their choice? This program will begin in the 2018-2019 school year. The date for applications has changed...the system will not open until January 31, not January 24 as previously indicated. Remember that money will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Spring Gala Car Raffle
Its BACK...This year SPPCS has again teamed up with Sunset Ford to raffle off a 2018 Ford Escape S! The raffle tickets will cost $100, and there will only be 400 tickets sold. The winner of the raffle will be announced at the SPPCS Spring Gala on March 10. Also, multiple people can join together and go in on the purchase of one ticket....they can opt out of the car and split the cash instead! Children's Rummage Sale Collection
Mrs. Haberl will be accepting rummage sale items from 9 a.m. until noon, on the following Saturdays: Jan. 6, 13, 20, and 27 and also on Jan.15th. Please bring items in through the side gym door, near the boys' restroom. Items can also be sent in during school hours, and brought either to the office or to the breezeway,beginning Thursday, Jan. 4th. Please do not bring computers, TVs, bikes, very large items, or stuffed animals, unless they are like new. We are looking for: clean and working toys, games, jewelry, puzzles, decorative items, crafts, candy (no nuts!), CHILDREN'S books and movies, sporting goods, and anything else another SPPCS student would like. All the money will again help organizations which help hurting children Thank You!
PTO Pulled Pork Fundraiser
The SPPCS PTO is once again partnering with JVs to offer 4 pounds of pulled pork and a bottle of JV’s barbeque sauce for only $32! This is a perfect solution for those of you that are hosting Super Bowl parties or family gatherings! You can place an order by downloading and completing the linked order form and returning it to school with payment (attention: Liz Schaltenbrand) by Friday, January 19, 2018. All checks should be made payable to the SPPCS PTO. Pick-up will be on Friday, February 2nd from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the SPPCS cafeteria. All proceeds will benefit the SPPCS PTO in order to purchase items for the school and teachers. Your support is greatly appreciated!
